Draining SS 550 water tank

Are there any good tricks to completely drain/blow out the water tank on my SS 550 truck camper. I recently had to change out the water pump and when I had the bench apart I noticed there was about 4 inches of water remaining in my water tank. I can't get it to completely drain so I can winterize it. Any tricks?

Four inches of water is allot of water, if there is no room to reposition the pump suction you might try taking a hand suction pump like they sell at Harbor Freight and inserting the suction hose thru the fill spout and suck out the remaining water that way.
