I recently did this and tried goof off first. It wasnt doing the trick so i switched to gasoline and it worked much better on the 5 year old stickers. Then used windex for piece of mind.

I dont need stickers to tell me the difference between the cable input and the fresh water fill.

Ours have all come off before leaving the lot. I don't need "here's your sign" all over a trailer. Told dealer that all warning stickers and dealer markings had to come off or he could pay me to advertise.

I left one dealer sticker on that turned to chalk and cracked plastic, not UV proof. Gone as well some stickers about tires.I removed the stickers inside and put them inside a cupboard door.

WD 40 works as a solvent to clean goo off as well. I use window cleaner to clean wd 40 then soap and water to clean window cleaner

Well lemme add to be clear ...

1) heat gun to remove sticker first

2) little bit of gas on a paper towel to remove any leftover adhesive

3) windex next

4) important stickers like gvw and tire info i left on the trailer

My thought would be that gas has a higher volitility than many other petroleum distilates. It basically evaporates faster allowing the concentration in the area to increase to a cumbustable level, so could be explosive. Mineral spirits would have similar cleaning properties with less volitility, but still avoid areas with open flames such as pilot lights. Lots of ventilation with all petroleum based products would be good

Some may think that it is sad but the RV makers feel that they must put those stickers on so that they lessen the risk of bring brought to court. I remember that when I bought my last cattle trailer I had to sign a form that stated that I understood that metal cattle trailers will rust! Reminds me of the coffee that the woman put between her legs and got burned. She was awarded damages. In the end she didn't get much because the award was reduced by a higher court.

Technically, there's probably no sticker on the mower advising against this...

but this is much cooler!

Stupidity by folks is what brings on the rash of stickers and all the odd ball safety features. Now days some folks just need to be told every little thing. I really do not know how I have lived so long with no warnings back in my day. Later RJD

I completely understand the need and reason for them being put on by the factory, and for first timers and even some old timers they can be a needed thing. Myself,I just think that between the warning stickers, dealer stickers and a lot of the over the top graphic packages they come with, they make it look like a circus wagon. If I could order a unit with no graphics what so ever,I would.

There are a lot of stickers, huh? Well I took them off and stuck them to paper (when they came off intact) and put in a book for next owner... the one's I thought might be important. The others I tossed. But, then I also made and placed some small labels back on using the P-Touch for some important things, in case I forget.

Idiot Stickers

There were a lot of stickers. Thank for the heads up of saving them on a piece of paper. It seemed the factory could have made a nice sticker for the unmarked switches. I suppose the were thinking aw just let them guess. Thanks for the reply and the advice.
