Since it was now my second tow with with this vehicle I felt much more comfortable and was at 70 mph, one hand - she handles really well . I even stopped at a weigh station and I'm 2000 lbs under the max gwcr so that's a good felling. This tells me I can actually upgrade my tt now [emoji4].

A simple suggestion---slow down a bit! 70mph is pushing things as your tires are most likely rated for 65mph MAX. Also, going 70 may seem easy, however, think about getting that "train" slowed down or stopped in an emergency situation. 62-65 is what the majority of us travel and if you look at the additional miles traveled in a 8-10 hour day, it's only 40 to 50 miles. Think about what your families safety is really worth? 40 miles per day gained seems like a high price to pay in IMHO!

Agree! We travel app. 400-450 miles per day, which is app. 1.5 tanks of fuel with stops for meals and potty breaks. That's about all both of us can handle for 7 or 8 hours. Plus, we never try to find a campground after dark along the interstate. We stop before dusk so we can see our site and can hook everything up.

By the time we sold it, it had many miles on it and the front end steering was a little loose, (it sort of drifted around a little), but otherwise it was in great shape.

I had to let her go and boy did I love that van. I bought it off of a 75 yr old man who garage kept it its entire life, it was mint and the back half was virtually unused. I just needed more power to tow my trailer. I was over exceeding the limits and didn't want to risk a major transmission break down or other issues. I like this Denali, it's in great shape but have no attachment yet. I'm still hurt for having to let go of our van. The kids like the Denali more but all agree that the van was much more comfortable. I'll post another pick of my beauty ..... I have to get a tissue now , lol

Mrprep, your Denali may already have oil and trans coolers. I know my Denali XL('14) came stock with them and a brake controller, but no hitch. You know it's a gas guzzler, when your "economy car" is 4x4 dually crew cab DMax!

Yes it does have a cooler , I'm thinking of adding a second though, I reached about 215f on the highway and hear that's kind of high. Yes this is a bit of a gas guzzler too - better than my van, but not by much.

I would never subject my family to such humiliation :-) Humor aside, the new Powerstrokes are really nice looking rigs. They are coming out with some colors that my wife really likes. Ford did good with the appearance package.
