Forester 2941 DSF "convenience center" help

Greetings,

My family and I are renting a Forest River Forester 2941 DSF and the agency we rented from was not completely familar with the operation of the unit (or I didn't pay enough attention). There are three switches on the convenience center control panel that I could use some guideance on; O can make some educated guesses, but I don't want to break this baby!

1. Water/Heater, w/ DSI Fault indicator light
2. Water/Pump w/ unlabled indicator light (I suspect this one is he one that switches between city water and tank water, but I cannot find a corelation.)
3. Arctic/PAC

Could smeone please help me out, I'd appreciate it. I'd really like to know when each of those switches should be in each position.

Thanks

Tim

Hi-

This might help:
1. Water heater/DSI light- Push to turn on water heater. Light will momentarily light until water heater fires. If light comes on and stays on there is a problem.

2. Water pump- turns on 12 vdc water pump and stays lit. Pump will not operate if there is city water pressure being applied to it.

3. Arctic PAC (yes, that's how it is spelled on the panel-I got hammered for bad grammar in another post) is used when you are in cold weather. It heats up your tanks when the ambient temp drops below 40 F and heats to 65 F. Takes a lot of power to run.

The rest of the switches on my panel are for lights, slide, generator.

Hope this helps and have a GREAT trip!
Rick

I'm running into some confusion here. I have the hose hooked up to the water supply here at the camp site, and I know that it is coming out through the regulator (I've had to fill the fresh tank). It seems like no matter what I do, the unit continues to draw from the fresh tank. I've run with the Water Pump switch in both positions, but it seems to kick the pump in regardless of which position the switch is in. I'm open to any suggestions!

Thanks again!

Tim
