IMO, contact Cedar Creek directly. Nothing like getting info from the horse's mouth vs. a bunch of opinions here.

all the frames are lippert and lippert says it will void warranty. If you have not had any frame issues and no axle issues (tire wear etc) it will be fine. You have a well made coach that can handle it. I would just be sure to have a pro weld it on for you.

I read somewhere that the drop frames as used on CK and some others are made by someone else, cant remember who,but they were huck bolted instead of welded.
We have a 2013 Silverback 29 RE and next year I am going to modify the factory installed class 1 hitch. I will strengthen the cross members and install a class 3 receiver, after market warranty will be over by then. I will be pulling a 17 ft, boat. It can be done!!

All cc brand frames are made by lippert now that being said all lippert frames are not the same because they are built to suit for the brands

I own a 2010 silverback, and owned a 2004 CC and both have a Lippert frame, and they are welded not huck bolted (sorry)
Happy Camping
