fresh water pump

The fresh water pump had reduced output this last month. I pulled the metal screen filter from the pump, found tiny bits of dirt and a thin slime. Cleaned the screen and reinstalled the assay. Tried it again - same result - VERY low pressure. The fix? I pulled the screen out! Just thought I'd pass this along. I have a whole "house" water filter on our coach.

The metal screen filter is to protect the pump from particles in the water......just saying.
