Fridge panel fell off...

Our fridge panel on the freezer door was found on the floor after driving to our last camping trip. 😢
It looks like the plastic strip on the bottom has cracked and the clips that pop into the door so it will not hold the wooden panels weight. I tried to pop it back in and it just fell back down again.
Questions:
Why do they make these panels removable? I almost used caulking to glue the stupid thing back up!
Where can I buy the new plastic strip to support the panel?
Thx all who reply.

So you can change your style and color options. They make one model and several panels. I looked at retrofitting mine with the raised panels but they want 1/2 the price of the fridge for the panels. If you never plan to change them, Liquid nails sounds good.

Ok, but where do I order replacement parts? What is the plastic piece called that holds the panels?

The same thing happened to me my fridge was a dometic. Looked up the parts on line which was that bottom plastic piece and 2 pins which are broken that's why it fell off and broke that bottom piece. Took all of 5 minutes to fix have not had a problem since then. The lady I talked to at Dometic new right away what was broke when I called and explained what happened. Cost was about $ 30.00

My main refr door fell off and I switched the broken bottom piece with the good top piece and reassembled with glue nails caulking. Been good for the last 2 1/2 years now.
