Removing Bugs

I own two aircraft and bugs on the leading edges of the wings is always an issue. A trick I learned from crop duster which works great, use lemon Pledge. Spray it on wait about a minute and wipe the bugs off. I use this on my RV and of course the aircraft. Side benefit, RV smells great.

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, a soft cloth, and gentle running water will take them off and not hurt the finish. My dad taught me this back in the sixties when he had his service station. Re-wax as needed.
Here in SC some campers use store brand cooking spray before a trip.

Front cap bugs, share your cleaning secret!
The dryer sheets do work. I have also used Mr. Clean magic erasers with great success. A small pail of water to keep the eraser wet and no heavy elbow grease needed.

I have used a product called "Bugs n All" works very well and doesn't affect the decals. I ordered it on Amazon.

I can’t imagine how I would step onto my cap and not immediately fall. It starts at the roof and is immediately angled towards the ground.

What about Saran Wrap.
Or some sort of plastic wrap for paint protection... Paint Protection for Race Cars and Personal Vehicles

Rejex on the front cap (and leading edges) makes the bugs very easy to clean off.

reach the cap on rig
I use a 10' long x 6' high rolling scaffold from Territorial Scaffold in Albq. The scaffold rolls right across the top of the hood of the Dynamax Force. I am able to reach all of the exterior of the RV to clean and polish with ease!
