Front storage bay wasted space

I was looking into optimizing the front storage bay on our fifth wheel and was wondering if I could lay our 6V AGM batteries on their side. Came across these interesting sites:

there is anther youtube that shows how he protects his electronics.

I am well aware of weight issues so no responses needed on that.

What I am interested in is how do you make use of all the wasted space in the front storage?

Nope, can't lay them on thier sides. BUT I'm not a battery expert and I don't stay at Holiday Inns.

#6 from the link below says AGM batteries can be installed on their sides. Assuming they’re sealed, I see no reason why you couldn’t.

Sealed AGM batteries can be installed on their side, but I'm gonna tell you; people gonna look at you funny when they see them!

Silverback 33IK Front Storage Bay

My bay is rather large . . . I've got (2) folding recliner chairs, (3) bag chairs, a good sized blue waste water tote, charcoal, Weber Q propane grill, tripod grill, and miscellaneous items (newspaper / fat wood fire starters / etc). The plastic floor liner has warped a bit since there is no other supporting structure underneath, so I would highly recommend beefing up that are if you're putting batteries in there.
