Generator mount/tent

Photos show the progression from moving gen to tongue an final protective cover. The pvc frame is now home of a custom cover that zips on all four corners. Made from same material 18 wheelers use to cover loads Not cheap but durable.Click image for larger version

Has the OP ran the generator while it was on the rack? If so as there a lot of noise/vibration transmitted to the inside of the camper? Jay.

I lined the tray eith a 1” thick rubber pad from Tractor supply. The softer one with drain holes molded in. Used for horse stalls or horse trailers. Isolates the vibration and the Honda doesn’t vibrate much anyway
The Honda tank is only .9 gal. With A/C run time about 4-6 hrs. The 6 gal boat tank means I don’t have to climb up to refuel as often.
So far is working for me.
