I blew it out very well , no gas at all. I can't hear any gas and I can't smell it and I held it for a while.

You will not hear the gas coming out and you will not smell the gas. You have to hold a lighted match or a BBQ lighter under the pilot area. The heat from the match will help open the valve for the pilot gas flow. As stated this can be a piglet to light.

If it has a good strong spark then a flame should not be needed.

Do you have a switch on the inside of the TT for the water heater. If you do then the WH is a DSI and will not have a pilot light. If it is a DSI it might take several cycles of the inside switch to get the WH going. If it will not light there could be several reasons from blocked tubes to a bad control board. If you know an experienced camper ask them to look at the water heater for you. It might be time to call in a RV repair service to look at the WH.

When I first get the camper ready. After turning on the gas at the tanks I always go in and light all the top burners on the stove so the air gets out of the lines. Hot water gas and fridge will light easier then.
