Getting my old tt ready but then.....
I have a 1998 forest river wildwood 24fb and today I finally got around to messing with it a bit more. So far so good but I do have some issues. For starters it seems like the floor vent in the bathroom kicks up more hot air flow than the other 2 floor vents , what would cause this? Then, all water flow seems to work except for the kitchen sink, it trickles , is there a valve or something that I have to turn ? I'm finding a lot of mouse droppings. I guess I can vacuum and the wipe and disinfect but what about in the floor vents?? How do I get in those ?? Now I also feel a hot air flow pouring outside through a vent through the wall, why is that happening?? I cause I could really use that hot air inside since I have the heat on. I have a couple of ceiling lights not getting voltage and that's about it and all fuses are good . Oh, I have a leak located at the top of the toilet in the rear where the hose plugs in but I'll open a separate three for that . So please , what ever pointers you can give here, I will appreciate, thanks.

Take off your aerator on your sink and check for dirt. This restricts flow. As far as heat is the vent giving you the most heat the first one in the run/trunk? My suggestion would be take resisters off and stick shop vac hose down to see if you have mouse nest built in the trunks since you have said you see signs.

Eh, kinda grossed out by all this but no pain no gain. I'm gonna do some hard core vacuuming and wipe downs with bleach and then shampooing all seats . I actually found that the screen was blocked with dirt, I cleaned and that helped . I did find a leak at the top of the faucet , I'm gonna replace , I don't wanna take any chances. Can I use a regular kitchen sink faucet ??

The heat vent on the outside is the exhaust vent for the furnace. The floor vents have a screw on each end. Remove the screws and the vent lift off. X2 on removing the aerator and checking for blockage. If this does not work you might have to replace the faucet. You can replace the faucet with any regular kitchen faucet.

Sometimes it takes a bit for the piglet to light. You sure tanks are on right?

Check that the pilot tube is not blocked with dirt or spider webs. You may have to hold down the pilot knob so much longer then what you think at least the first time to purge air and such. Check your main tanks and ensure they are full

I blew it out very well , no gas at all. I can't hear any gas and I can't smell it and I held it for a while.

You will not hear the gas coming out and you will not smell the gas. You have to hold a lighted match or a BBQ lighter under the pilot area. The heat from the match will help open the valve for the pilot gas flow. As stated this can be a piglet to light.

If it has a good strong spark then a flame should not be needed.

Do you have a switch on the inside of the TT for the water heater. If you do then the WH is a DSI and will not have a pilot light. If it is a DSI it might take several cycles of the inside switch to get the WH going. If it will not light there could be several reasons from blocked tubes to a bad control board. If you know an experienced camper ask them to look at the water heater for you. It might be time to call in a RV repair service to look at the WH.

When I first get the camper ready. After turning on the gas at the tanks I always go in and light all the top burners on the stove so the air gets out of the lines. Hot water gas and fridge will light easier then.
