Help

We just traded for a 30 MK Cardinal 5th Wheel with 3 slides. We are about to go camping on Labor Day weekend and need some help figuring out the sewer system. There is a side panel that has an outdoor shower, cable connections, a soap dispenser and a hole in the bottom for a sewer hose...I think. If you look under the camper you see where the actual sewer line is about 6 feet down towards the back of the camper. What is this for? How do I use it?

I can't find anything in the books to tell about it.

I am not familiar with your new rig. But looking at this brochure http://www.uvsconsole.com/manager/ad...1886951155.pdf, it looks like the pull handles for your sewer are inside that panel, but the actual sewer hose connection is not. If your "wide pipe" sewer line is below that side panel and toward the back (as shown in the brochure) then that is where you hook up the sewer hose to drain the tanks.
As for the hole in the bottom of said side panel, it is probably for your fresh water supply hose to connect to the inlet to the camper which seems to be depicted on page 9 of the brochure and just below the filter canister.

It's merely an hypothesis.

AWESOME! I think you are right. That hole in the bottom lets you run the water hose up through it so you can hook it up and flush out the sewer line. thank you so much. It makes sense.

Well, I couldn't read the writing in that picture of the side panel. It may well be the sewer rinse connection, but you should also have a fresh (city water) connection in there somewhere. If not, it has got to be somewhere nearby.
