FYI: As retired military, I've often stayed on Base. Most of them have excellent campgrounds. A lot of retirees aren't aware that the nationwide Good Sam guide has a section in the back dedicated entirely to "Military Listings".

X2 and the Allstays app lists them as well!

Some of the best CGs in the USA are Famcamps!

We have a Cardinal which measures 34 feet and have pulled into some pretty tight spaces. We always call ahead and as mentioned Allstays is a great resource. In Florida most of the State Parks accommodate big rigs. Go on to Reserve America and search the many great state parks across the nation. The show the length and width of each site and many have photos. It also lists the max length for the size of the camper. The web site tells you all about the park and what to do in it. Probable the "BEST" resource is at this web site. Post where you are headed to and the size of your rig and I promise you will get lots of responses from the great people on Forest River Forums with cool parks. I did this last summer for my Alabama trip and planned the trip on the information posted here and what a great time everyone had!!
