Help with TV in Kids Bunk Room - Sierra 365

Hi, we have a 2011 Sierra 365SAQ. We have a tv in the kids bunk room in the back and want to know how to hook it up so that we can watch the same movie on that tv as the movie that is playing in the main area of the trailer.

Anyone have any ideas how this should be hooked up? We've tried a number of things but have had no success. Someone mentioned something about a "jumper cable" to us but we have no idea what he's talking about.

First question is:

Are you playing the movie on the installed Concertone DVD player?

Second Question:
Can you hear the audio from the Concertone in the kids bunk room?

Hi, it's a Jensen dvd player that the DVD is being played on. We can't hear it via the tv in the bunk room - but we can hear it when we put the main trailer speakers on in that area.

The player is outputting the movie via a line level video signal (most likely Composite - Yellow RCA plug). Somehow you will need to get that signal to the back room. Since there are speakers back there already, you won't "need" to send audio back there. You will need a composite video amp splitter to watch on both TVs and a long RCA cable run back to the TV in the bedroom.

Buy Cheap 4-way Composite Video/Audio RCA Distribution Amplifier/Splitter

This one can handle up to 4 TVs and you would still need the Red, White and Yellow composite cables.

You can get long ones at:
25ft Value Series Composite Video + Stereo Audio Cable - Cables To Go

I represent ASA Electronics, the producer of the JENSEN brand of televisions, stereos, and speakers, Voyager brand of observation monitors and cameras and the Advent brand of appliances. At ASA, we strive to provide excellent customer service and product satisfaction and would like to offer some assistance in this matter.

You should have the JENSEN AWM970 installed. This model features two Composite Video Outputs. You can use the second output to connect to the additional TV using a single RCA video cable. If you desire audio from the DVD player through the TVís built-in speakers, be sure to send the Audio L/R to the TV as well, using a triple RCA A/V cable as herk7769 mentioned. No additional distribution amplifier/splitter is necessary.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Glad to see you on here. Have a new Silverback and the Jensen manuals for some reason are no where to be found-I'll have to get the model #-hopefully it's the AWM970 so we can do this.

To Jensenrvdiret:

Don't want to hijack this thread but didn't know that you monitored this forum. A number of us who are part of this forum have had numerous problems with the Voyager side view cameras on our coaches. Can you tell me why they continually fog up and/or get moisture behind the lens covering? I can't tell you how frustrating and dangerous it is when this occurs, especially when driving at night.
Thanks.
