Now that's an idea: buy a surplus C-130, store all the stuff in it (who needs a toy hauler!) Have that flown to the intended location by oh, I don't know, a retired military pilot familiar with that plane and who also enjoys camping that I could hire, and have all the gear and toys there when I arrive in the RV.

Lou, can you actually purchase military surplus C-130s? This has actually come up in discussions among my four-wheeling buddies that compete in rock crawling competitions all over the country and they have to make arrangements to have their buggies/Jeeps driven out west. A C-130 would be the ticket...
