how to remove sofa
DIY. I have a lacrosse 311 rls. I want to replace the sofa with recliners. My question is how to remove the sofa from the floor. the front corners of the sofa are free. The rear corners are attached. they are large round (ball) type and I cannot find how they are attached.
 HELP

I'd see if you cab look underneath maybe? I wouldn't think they'd screw from bottom up, but who knows?

What kind of sofa? Is it flip out with air matress or newer lane kind?..pic
I took mine out...but cant remember how it was attached.?

it is the flip out with air mattress. It sets on round (soft ball size) legs at each corner. the front two are not attached. it is attached at the back two.

If you open it up into the bed position and look through the framework you should see a couple of straps holding the frame to the floor with screws.

Yes...I do remember now having to remove drawer and flip open couch to gwt out straps/bolts......

GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a wood brace 1 X 2" that runs side to side that had 2 long screws thru it and into the floor. once removed, the sofa is ready for removal from camper.

I took the sofa out of my Vlite too. Did it by myself and had to stand it up on end and partially open it up and wiggle it through the door with an 1/8" to spare on each side. I would not recommend doing it by yourself(like me) but I am stubborn and was determined to show the BOSS I could do it. The manufacturer must have loaded the couch before the slide was attached. I have 2 recliners that sit side by side while traveling. When parked, I pull 1 out to face the tv and leave the other angled diagonally to the tv.

OK, Replaced with a Love seat recliner with console. Do I need to screw it down to the floor?

I would, maybe with a plastic or metal strap attached to the back legs of the loveseat. It may not move without it but what the hey!

I would use the same screws that came out, if you can use the same holes so as to avoid running one into a power wire or plumbing.

Do the backs come off?
You might give that a look see I know it will be a lot easier if they do.
If you are not sure call the place where you bought it at.
