Whats your point?
We camp with electricity but no water.
We also run generator all day and night.
Anymore questions?

I have seen this done with a small 12 vdc motr pump, just like your main water pump. It was on a boat, same issue "to conserve water at the main and bath sinks". Small button switch at each location. You push is for a few seconds to circulate the hot water to get it out to the tap, THEN turn on the hot water faucet. Worked GREAT. Get a switch that doesn't stay on unless it's held in the on position, then no signicant 12Vdc drain and it can't stay on accidentally. It really did work well, and would be simple to install in any trailer or other RV or boat.

OK, if THIS is how it works, then it sounds like it's conserving WATER, not necessarily giving you "instant hot water" as the title of this post says, as it seems you push the button and still need to wait some period of time before there's hot water.
So if your advertising water conservation, I get it. If you're advertising "instant hot water," I don't.
If it's "automatic," it still seems the purpose is to save water (at the cost of some electric use), and any "instant hot water" is just gravy.

Instant hot water is what you'll get every time.
In return you'll save water in the process not having to run water to get hot water.
Pump is always on as long as you have 110v .

If you run the 110v unit, I agree, if you run a 12V separate pump, you will have to run a return line from the farthest faucet or get that special sensor that is sold with the 110v unit.

True boon dockers don't have 110v from any source. Anymore questions?

My point was to get "instant hot water when you turn on the tap. It does save the water amount. Of course it's not instant if you're relying on a 12VDC pump, unless you let that run all the time, then the batteries would be dead. For a true boondocker, it will save water that otherwise is lost. If you circulate the water for a few seconds, (depends on the size of pump and size and length of the hot water lines) when you turn on the hot tap, you'll have hot instantly (well almost)
