We mounted a small dry erase board next to the door to write anything we need to get on. We find that having it makes us immediately write it down instead of trying to remember. Before we leave, we take a picture of the board with our phone for an instant "shopping list"!

Dang You, now I have to add a dry erase board to my list.

Seriously, that is a good idea.

Great ideas everyone. We did it by trial and error. Put everything we thought we needed and took a pen and a notepad. I'm pulling the trailer out today actually to go over it all for a trip at the end of the month.

I also keep a box of medical type gloves under my back seat on the drivers side. I put a pair on before I fuel up. Less chance of catching a cold from the buttons and I also don't get diesel on my hands.

Great lists everyone. I saw a First Aid Kit listed. I have 2 in my RV, but on our last outing, I found a dire need for something to create a compression bandage. I had everything, but the most important....I needed an ACE bandage to secure the compression bandage tightly. I now have 3 of them aboard. 2 of the self sticking type and 1 of the non-sticky reusable type.

1) bigger camper.... for all the stuff....
2) bigger truck to pull the bigger camper and all the stuff.

3) I always take a 'tent' to use as a storage shed for all of the 'stuff' that I pile in the camper and know the I will need sometime during our trip.

In storage shed (tent)

1) propane tank for out side grill
2) outside grill
3) outside fans
4) float tubes (we go on a lot of 'floats')
5) fishing 'stuff'
6) coolers
7) extra boards and jacks, tools
8) extension cords,
9) extra lights,
10) can of diesel

etc, etc (depending on where we are going....)
