Just bought misters from Mist Mates

Ust got back from a week long vacation at the lake in 100 degree weather but kept cool outside with the MistyMates mister string we bought and hung from our awning! Awesome is all I can say. I ordered them online for $19.99 for a 10 foot strip with 6 misters but I hear that some Lowes carry them in their outdoor dept. anyway I don't think you'll be sorry they worked out for us.

So you use the water hose hookup with a "t" and a second hose?

That's what I planned on but our site actually had two faucets so I had one dedicated to the misters but the y connector would have worked . We had a nice breeze that helped but we used a fan also.

I'd like to bump this discussion. Many of the State Parks we're going to do not have water. Rather than using up my fresh water, I'm thinking of a collapsible 5-gallon water jug and a small, QUIET water pump...similar to a small fountain.

Has anyone tried doing something like this for a mister....???
