Leather Furniture and Freezing Temps
Has anyone experienced problems with leaving leather furniture in the trailer with the sub zero winter temps...where we live it will get sub zero and stay there a very long time. The leather recliners in the trailer concern me in these temps, however hauling them into the house presents a problem too...not alot of room for them, and hauling them into the basement doesn't sound too appealing. I have visions of cracked and split leather come spring time.

I'll put a good leather conditioner on the recliners once a year, have not done that yet to the rv recliners but it is time. Have all leather in the truck and have done those at least twice a year, seven years and they still look great. When we are home here in Texas the truck sleeps in the garage plus extended freezing conditions are not much of a concern in central Texas tho we do get below the 32º mark at times. (think 2011 super bowl)

WFD I don't live in Texas ( I'm in Canada where it does get COLD!!) I would not worry about the leather seats, unless you are going to sit in them, then I would put a blanket on them, leather is darn cold on the rear end in the winter HAHA! Don't worry never had leather split or anything from cold

I picked up a load of leather furniture in Minnesota one time .
It was the middle of January and colder then a well diggers a#&!
The building was not heated and not only that they sat in the trailer for two weeks before delivery.
Same goes for televisions.
Ever been behind walmart or Sam's and seen those shipping containers?
For 3 months before x-mas these are filled with electronics.

But they say leather takes to the body temperature real fast!! Won't be cold for too long!
Never thought about the leather in cars in winter..ok then...point well taken.
