Maybe so- but not sure what good it is to have 2 way communication:
Driver - hey Dear I just saw that the FW hitch is coming loose - better secure the kids and hang on.
Wife in FW - and just what in hell am I supposed to do? This is all your fault. I told you we didn't want to ride back here. Wait till I get my hands on you.
Sound of screeching metal on highway.

funny, and I agree, I wouldnt even want to let my dog back there. I'm sure it would be fine but I just worry.

Now that we're off on this deviation - I wouldn't put my wife or kids back there, but I have definitely considered sleeping on the master bed which is right over the pin while the wife drove.
The wreck carnage is what makes me second guess it. I doubt it is much different than motorhomes, though. (Not knocking them- just thinking of similarities.)

Question: Is it legal to carry booze in your trailer? It is treated the same as carrying it in your vehicle?

A man finds his buddy highly intoxicated in the local bar and asks him
"Why do you drink too much?"
"To forget my problem."
"What's your problem?"
"I drink too much."

TBH, DH and I are not much on drinking. There's a six pack of Bud in the fridge here at home that's been there for MONTHS.
But...
We don't pull Francis out of the driveway without doing a check to make sure there's a full bottle of Gentleman Jack wrapped in a bath towel and tucked in the drawer under the sofa bed.
I agree, there's just something about sitting around a fire with new friends and sippin' on a Gentleman Jack and coke!
I found a company in China that'll make any sign you want out of acrylic and LED lights. I want one that says OPEN BAR!

Wife and I got married in 1979 , at 19 . My wife's dad was a bad alcoholic when she was growing up . He finally got help and was fine
We would go out with friends and I would nurse a beer . One day she ask me if I would not drink ? So I figured it was no big deal
After many years we would meet new friends camping , vacation , work and buying a drink would come up. I would say no thanks , I drink ice tea
Then the question would come up " are you a recovering alcoholic " ? No, I just don't drink , then the WHY QUESTION ?
I have respect for those that do and those that choose not too. Our first 4 of marriage I was on a volunteer fire dept , EMT/Paramedic rode the box
Saw to many fatalities because of DWI , mostly to other family's
I can not tolerate bad behavior , especially in a drunk. That's my story and I stricken to it ...lol

From a website called www.alcohollaws.org regarding open container laws in the state of Missouri"
"Open Container Laws"
"With no strong open container law in place, in Missouri it is legal for passengers in a vehicle to drink as long as the driver is not impaired."
Essentially, this means that previously-opened bottles of booze in a mh or tt are not an issue in this state.
