Mattress topper

I thought I'd drop a short line on what I've learned on mattress toppers so far. Like most things, it's complicated. I bought a 4" Dream Serenity topper from Walmart for the cab bunk on my Forester MH. I'm very happy with it. Yesterday I tried moving it to the cab bunk of my old 1986 Dolphin. It's awful. Too soft. So for the folks searching for information on mattress toppers, it's not easy. If your base foam is hard then you need a softer topper. If the base is soft, you need a harder topper. Don't just go by reviews. It's difficult because you can't try them first.

I bought a king 3 inch Convoluted foam mattress topper and my husband cut it to fit the dinette bed and there was enough left for the Jack knife sofa, I put padded mattress covers on both and they are really comfortable Click image for larger version

Great idea! Im curious though, on the dinette bed do you bottom cushions stay put or move about? Ours move about and I haven't figured out how to stabilize them. Second question ...where do you store these when not in use? Thanks
