Back when I was watching Sat AM cartoons we were still allowed to shoot rodents. I lived on a farm and the ones i didn't get, the cats did at night.

You and Scrapper had me laughing this morning! My Dad grew up in coal mining country in PA. His house and all the neighbors house house's sewer lines all ran out to this wonderful creek out back called the S...creek. He would go back there as a boy with a .22 to do his part in controlling the rat population.

I knew a trucker that kept a pet Mongoose in his cab at all times. Nobody ever stole anything from his truck.

Been there, after I graduated high school I worked at a grain elevator and out back there was a hole where they got sand from when the place was built. We dumped broken pallets and rotten grain in the hole and we would burn the pile every couple of years and the rats would be back a day after the fire was out. I would go out after hours to shoot the rats. Did some of my best long range shots there with a .22 and scope.

D Con wont deter them either they just carry it to their nesting place. I think a Cat is the only thing that will slow them down. I am using a commercial bait that I got from my exterminator and it wont stop them either

Depends on how much you care about the environment and animals around you. It’s not uncommon for poisoned mice and rats to end killing others as in dogs, cats and birds that bite or digest the poisoned rodent. Sorry but sealing up all cracks and holes is the best.
