Model numbers

At the risk of being teased and chided - again by Jersey Boy, I have a suggestion. It may behoove all of us - except Jersey Boy - to store the model numbers of all slide toppers and awnings in a file. That way, if you ever have reason to contact the mfg., you'll have all necessary info. I almost learned the hard way today.

They should have given you a sheet with the model, serial # and phone# for everything in your unit. including awnings, tires, rims, hitch and all appliances. even the lights and furniture and toilet, mattress ,TV, sound system and more. What you did not get that from your dealer? pretty simple to scan it in your computer. I'm sure Cathy can handle it. This is what I was supplied with see attachment. I would call my dealer and get one, got with the PDI.

Wow, I didn't get anything that organized with my TT. But then, it isn't some high-end fancy-shmancy unit.
However, you have inspired me to create my own sheet with all that information ready to hand.
I have put all my owner's manuals in a three ring binder with photos of the data plates of each item with it's appropriate manual. However, things like the mattress and awning arms didn't come with a manual, so I hadn't thought to gather model/serial numbers for those type items.
Looks like I need to spend a few hours documenting information!
