Mounting ems to exterior wall

Need to mount our EMS on the exterior wall of our minilite. We have laminated walls so DH is weary about screwing into them. Need some backup from my fellow FR homies.

Is it ok to do this or no?

Yes.
I own a different model but the same thin walls.
Use short screws, 1" is fine.

yes... the interior of an exterior wall. (in a cabinet)
I believe my wall is 2" thick. Look at your entry door opening. This is how thick your walls are.
The interior wall board is only an 1/8" thick so as long as your screw length goes through the EMS and an extra 1/8" for the wall board, you are good.
I used 1" screws.

EDIT: just make sure if you cut the umbilical where it comes through the wall, you do not screw into it.

You are welcome.
You can also secure to a board 1" x 6" and secure board to floor.
You can also secure to same board and suspend to framing of drawer, cupboard ect.
All you are trying to do it keep it off floor (water leaks) and from bouncing around.
A PI EMS can be mounted in ANY position. (flat, sideways, standing up, upside down ect.)
I suggest you get the remote readout display if you have not purchased it with your hard wired unit.

Is it waterproof, approved for exterior mounting? I would be particularly concerned with the cable clamps.

I took it as the interior of an exterior wall.

OK, thanks. I thought it looked like yours was on the exterior of the trailer. Sorry for the confusion.
