MTM Jammit (personal table)

Has anyone used one of these? It is called an MTM Jammit, I found them the other night while looking for storage boxes for in my trailer. There is a pitch fork type end to it that you put into the ground and then a large square top that you put on the end to make a nice personal table that does not tip over or blow away in the wind. Looks to be pretty durable, light weight, and not too bad to store in a compartment.

It would work well if the ground wasn't hard. Most places I go you'd have a hard time sticking it in the ground.

Is that West Milton, Ohio?

I have just used it around my house in the yard, the real test will be once I get out and camping. And yes that is West Milton, Ohio! You familiar with West Milton?

Yes, that's my old stomping grounds. I went to West Milton schools and I'm originally from Ludlow Falls. My parents and one of my sisters live in Troy now.

Very Small world. I myself grew up here, moved away for a little while, and just recently moved back about three years ago. Do you know Sue, Sheryl, or Scott Sanders?

I do, I used to live in the farm house next to them on Iddings Rd. I used to run around with Scott all the time.

Scott is my uncle, Sue is my aunt, and Sheryl is my mother. You are talking about the farm house that is south of them?

What a fun way to reconnect! Was just going to say, i have some tv trays i take with me. They were just getting shoved around the house. Work great, small, and you dont have to try to shove them in the ground

Don't leave me out. I grew up just up the road outside Pleasant Hill, and now live in Tipp City. Iddings rd, is that north or south of 571?

We lived on the northside of 571, last farmhouse on the right before Kessler-Cowlesville Rd. It doesn't look like much of a farm now since they tore down the barn. We moved to Ludlow Falls when I was 12, just 3 miles from where you grew up.

I thought it was a coincidence when we talked about how close we were to each other growing up TTrost65, then I talked with CampOsborne and it blew me away.

Across the road from you, my aunt dated/lived with a guy, Bob Martin, owned Martin Tool & Die in WM, where firehouse is now. I used to spend a lot of time there in the summer.

So you now live in Tipp City? Where do you camp? Local or just long hauls?

We camp both. Weekends are usually spent 2-3 hours away max. Hocking hills, brookvillle lake are a couple we do

Very nice. We camp most of the summer local and then go to Glen Arbor Michigan in August. Going to be at Natural Springs for Memorial day. Trying to plan a trip to Old Man's cave at some point. Also got a couple trips to Paintcreek lined up.

Was it the brick house set way back off the road? I remember the name "Martin Tool & Die", but for the life of me can't remember where there business was located. Firehouse subs? I can't remember seeing that last time I was back in Oh.

Yes, and there was an old farm house also. His mother lived in the farmhouse. The current fire station in west Milton was where his business was located.

We camped at natural springs last year for the first time. We have a farm outside new Madison, that's about 10 minutes away. We liked it there.
