Need assistance asap
I have a 2015 Silverback. 1st propane refill. Cannot get tanks aligned in compartment. Must be a trick to getting these in and hooked up.
I get the two tanks in but cannot get secure bar in place to set the regulator on top prior to screwing lines into tanks. What am I missing here? Heavy rain and cold heading my way tomorrow!
Got any ideas? Owner manual sucks!

Are the tanks too frat apart or too close together? Some more info would help

Propane tanks
Too close together to get the grooved brace bar in between
Was able to get it temporarily together and the bat door closed.
Brace bar not in position and I need to step back and attack it again tomorrow morning. Can't be going through this each time we need propane. We use our rv all winter off and on. Hopefully this weekend I can check another Cedar Creek rv and see what I am missing!
VERY tight in that propane compartment.

If yours is like mine 29RE the tanks are too close together. Try twisting or rotating the tanks till u get one tooth to hold on each tank.
Next time I get home or get grinder near me I will align the tanks straight out and mark the bar a grind in notches where it will be easier to change and look right. Just remember my weren't in a notch on one side after getting filled.

Does the grooved bar have multiple grooves in it, which you are able to use which applicable grooves, depending on how needed?
Is this what you are describing?

Twisting tanks
Yours be looking like my setup. Twisted myself into a turmoil. No go!
Will take another haul out and play twister again tomorrow.
Gotta get this easier! I am over 70 and it ain't getting easier hauling these heavy tanks in and out!
Came out; gotta go back in!!
Thanks. Looking for tricks but not finding any, so far!
Come on baaaa beee let's do the twist.
Maybe I should Tweet Chubby Checker;
He can do it.

Now, I'm not condoning running around without locking the tanks down, but if it's that tight, are they really going to move anywhere?

Hey, yours has 3 grooves, mine 2! Probably a money saving thing.
My Keystone had 3 grooves for each tank side. Bet that would work a lot easier!

X2 you just need to play with it a little. It is not a big deal if you can't get the tank into the groove as long as it is within both handles of the tank and clamped down tight. You will be good

If I had the third notch on each side it wouldn't be any trouble. Bet their is like mine with only two notches on each side. Guess u could buy one or modify the one u got.

I had the same problem.
I took the regulator off the anchor bar, attached to the back wall of the compartment leaving the anchor bar free to adjust as I needed it.
