Need organizing tips for small trailer

I traded in a 16' trailer that had ALOT of storage space [ but very little living space]...now I have a 21' that has more living space---but ALOT less storage space. So I need some tips on storage...

I did find a helpful hint on the internet...an over-the-door shoe caddy. I put it on the inside of the bathroom door and it holds many of the bathroom necessities and you can see everything at a glance.

What model do you have?

In our pantry, we've added shelves. In the cabinets above our dinette, we added shelves like these: Amazon.com: Schulte Large Cabinet Shelf, Nickel: Home & Kitchen

In my wardrobe, I added this a wire shelf that has a drawer, but of course I can't find a picture of it online.

We've added hooks for keys and leashes where we can, using Command strips.

I have a hook inside my wardrobe door for hats.

I also put these in various places for things like phones, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.: Command Large Caddy, Clear - Amazon.com

I have MiniLite 2109S. I have used several wire and plastic shelves in the cupboards over the cooking area, and store things in plastic shoe boxes in other cupboards, that way I can take them out easily, to get to the things in back of the deep cupboards.

The two wardrobes on each side of the bed, aren't tall enough to hang clothes, so one has food stuff in plastic shoe boxes on wire shelves and the other has casserole dishes, coffee maker, toaster, etc. on big plastic shelves. There is very little storage in the kitchen area to store "kitchen stuff".

We use clear plastic storage boxes that are stored in the baggage area and under the seats. Over the door hooks and over the door towel holders help with frequently used items. We use over the door paper towel holder to gain space on the counter. Clear covered containers (purchased at Costco) keep things neat, oranized and visible when stacked under seats.

Problem is, I don't have seats...no dinette...just a sofa with moveable table. Under the sofa, there is no storage, just slide mechanisms. I store some stuff in plastic totes that I put in the shower stall when the shower is not in use.

Our last travel trailer didnt have storage under seats, but did have a couple cabinets and shelves. That is when I became the clear plastic storage queen. LOL Made moving to the smaller A Frame an easy transition. In our A Frame, the only storage is under one bence seat (which is actually the same storage area accessible from the outside baggage doors, and the other baggage storage on the back of the trailer. My trailer has one small kitchen cabinet that barely holds a small cookset. The clear shoe size boxes work great in the baggage areas. Totes are too big and clunky for our trailer's limited interior floor space.
You might also consider adding over the door shelves on the inside of cabinets or shelves on walls. Have you checked Pinterest for storage ideas? I get alot of inspiration for my trailer from there.

UGH. Now I understand. I went to the trailer at lunch (had to drop off linens we cleaned since our last trip that were just taking up space in the house) and took some pics of our shelving. I have to be honest, I don't have a lot of cooking dishes... just a few pans and pots I store under the oven. We noticed our last trip our lack of serving dishes.

I use a lot of 16 quart storage boxes loaded with various things, stacked up in our storage areas.

You might also look at what you are bringing and see if it's possible to pare down some. For example, you mentioned having a toaster. I use either a flat iron on my grill or a frying pan to make toast.

Lots of good ideas here. Shelves, bins and hooks. I think the command products are awesome. We don't us our shower, so I usually have a couple of bins and a popup hamper in it.

For our bedside wardrobes, I got a couple of these. Hanging Sweater organizer. Great for socks, underwear. I use the bottom shelf in mine, like a nightstand.

I have a larger one in the bathroom wardrobe that holds Tp, small toiletries, hats, etc.

The hardest thing to store in my surveyor is the silverware and utensils. Our drawers under the sink are only about 6" front to back, and barely wide enough side to side. I ended up getting a bamboo upright caddy that holds silverware and napkins. It gets shoved in the a cabinet or fridge when traveling.

For pans and cooking items I look for things that nest well, or collapse. We don't take a toaster or coffeemaker, but that's because DH like his little campfire percolator. I have been contemplated a toaster oven for when we have shore power.
