New Source of Campground (to us anyhow)

Discovered on a recent weekend when many campgrounds were full that many Fairgrounds (At least in Mich) have camping facilities available. That particular weekend we met friends and had full service for both at $17 a night and had the place to ourselves instead of crammed in at more traditional places.
This weekend will our third time this summer in 3 different County Fairgrounds. The only restrictions were to arrive during business hours and no staying during Fair Week.
So the question is how many other states have this option and does anyone know of a compilation.

We have stopped at fair grounds in both KS and OR and usually FHU. Don't think the states have anything to say about it and it's up to the fair grounds if they want to make a little money durning the off season.

Didn't think the state controlled it but don't know how many states have fairs.
