I'll have a crack at it. Here at the lot we use a driver and a spotter. The spotter is responsible for the back half of the trailer and the driver for the front. The driver watches the spotter, who points the direction they want the back to go. If they want it to go straight in the direction its going its 2 flat hands parallel and vertical. generally they point with one hand and give a come along signal with the other. A closed fist is the all done signal. The spotter will have to familiarize themselves with how a trailer approaches a spot. Thats the system thats works for us.

edit: oh yeah, palms facing and a point forward for a do over....
