Title changed to "Newbie Qs: Preventing items from shifting in cabinets".

I'm probably going overboard in my quest for quiet. This being my first RV, I was hesitant to go the motorhome route because of my desire to have a quiet, noise free ride. I don't mind it sounding like a panel van every now and then on rough roads but any noise or rattle I can control, I do. I have not done it yet but will let you know how the silicone smear on the bottom of the plates works out. Maybe in a few months I will realize that my goal of a rattle free ride is just a dream.

Would you explain how the rods in the front go in and out? They look permanent but can’t be as you couldn’t get the bowls, etc in and out. Thanks.
