I cut six 1" x 6" cedar fence boards to 4 foot length. 3 feet might be long enough too.
I sanded the corners and edges with 80? grit paper.
I then stapled strips of green plastic turf to the boards.
Drains well, easy to clean, light weight, lasted 4 years and it is a bit tickly too

We did full on nude showers at a CG where we reserved a completely private 5 site group loop just for the 2 of us.

Sit in a chair and have your significant other wash you. It gets pretty interesting.

Pickup a wooden pallet. Many are in excellent shape and discarded by businesses. Cut it in two.

The lynx level blocks work. If ou have tender feet cut a piece of of an anti fatigue mat and put it down.

I think you could easily just use a piece of outdoor carpet, but it might stay damp for awhile afterwards.
This link has all kind of products that would work too
Locker Room Mats, Pool Mats, Shower Mats, and Drainage Mats by American Floor Mats

How about an Entryway Rug with the rubber backing and fuzzy top to stand on-- about $5.oo at Menards.

Most camp grounds we've stayed at don't allow gray water to be discharged on to the ground. If you're actually showering and using soap then you're dumping gray water on the ground.

You do need to pay attention to the rules and regs., that's for sure.

Rubber door mats...the kind that look like iron, but are really just rubber. They're thick enough to keep you off the dirt, soft enough to stand on in bare feet, and they're fantastic for double duty...while showering, put the mat at the shower, when not, put it at the front door! Perfect! In fact, I'm going to buy another one for the camper!
We use our outdoor shower mainly for the kids...because while camping, they're always filthy and yes, there HAVE been times I wouldn't even allow them INSIDE the pop-up. Some friends use it for their dog (they don't have children).
Have fun shopping! :-)

We've only used the outside shower when camping near or on the beach.... get the sand out of all the nooks and cranny's..... not for taking a full bath..... thought it might be nice to have a little privacy while changing from your swim trunks back to dry clothes.....

We have used one or two rubber door mats for years. We use the outdoor shower to wash off the dogs after they've been swimming, or just to wash sand off our feet.
