outside cleaning

I have a forest river hybrid expandable trailer and would like to clean the material that acts like the tent part.It isnt really a canvas material, not sure what it is.I read a thread on cleaning the awning with dish soap and bleach, it worked great.Just wondering if this would work or does anybody have a trick they used on there trailer.

This was one of the reasons we went from a PU to a hard side TT...
we were always concerned about this and mold issues.

Good luck...
