Permanent plates in Missouri

For those that live in Missouri and own a 5th wheel. You can get permanent plates for $56 when registering. It must be a 5th wheel and the plates cannot be transferred if you purchase a different RV. If you plan on keeping your rv this is a great deal. Register it once and done.

Missouri has been coming out on top with me. When we buy our fifth wheels we always think we’re going to keep it for quite awhile so we buy the permanent plate. Well, the Silverback is the third fifth wheel we purchased since 2004 and yes, once again we bought a permanent plate for the third time. Oh well, SIL. At least it saved me the hassle of waiting in line to reregister the trailer.

Michigan switched to all permanent plates for trailers regardless of type. 5er, TT, utility trailer...
