Potential Problem Averted

When we got back from camping last week, I noticed something hanging back by the galley tank dump valve. After parking, I noticed the cheap ***** plastic strap FR used to secure the valve to the frame had broken. Absolutely unbelievable the stupidity of the engineers/accountants to suggest such idiotic use of plastic. Anyway, cut a pc of 1/8" x 1/2" alum strap 17" long and formed a hanger. To insure the valve/etc. did not move upwards, I added an industrial hd wire tie. I bet this one won't break and let the valve break the fitting out of the tank.

Can't believe I didn't catch this POS strap when I hard plumbed the galley tank into the front dump valve.

Word of caution folks, check those dump valve straps or you could have a major leak if they break loose from the tanks/plumbing.
