Power Connections

After my first ever RV purchase and 3 week camp out, I've learned a lil sumthin about having options for power hookup.

I encountered- 15A, 30A and 50A hookup at different CG's.

I have a 50A surge protector
50 in 50 out and needed to get all kind of adapters to fit.

30A male > 50 female dog bone

50A Male to 30A Female to connect to the trailer Furrion cable.

15A male to 30A female

And having a 25' and/or 50' 120v 15A OUTDOOR extension cord never hurts.

Hope this helps just 1 person.

We all wind up with a myriad of connectors and adapters over time.

The pictures will definitely help someone in the future.

Thanks for posting them.

I have the same connectors but they are the small ones, I think the dog bone style like you have provide better option with regard to fitting the different pedestals. If you are going to use an extension cord I recommend 10ga or larger.

You didn't ask, but an Electric Monitoring System is far better than a surge protector:

We have a 30amp unit so this adapter was useful in Amana, which had 50a only pedestals. Allowing us to use an additional space heater independent of the converter. Also added a Marinco inlet for additional extention cord.
