Thanks for any advice! I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
We have 800 thread count on our home mattress that we picked up at Bed Bath & Beyond, on sale for $70. We picked up the 500 thread count at Wal Mart for $50. They also have 600 thread count for around $70, I believe. They are very comfortable, and get softer and softer each time you wash them. Personally, I wouldn't spend $105 on sheets for a bed I'm not sleeping in full time. ($105 at Exceptionalsheets.com for a queen set.) Wal Mart has samples you feel before you buy. We're very happy with them.

$160 for 1200 thread count on this website. Plus shipping? Nope, ain't gonna happen. That is highway robbery, especially since you can find them at flea markets, etc. all over the place.

There are some ebay sellers that have really nice short queen sheets for $60/set. They are from India. 600-100 tread count and 10+ colors to pick from.

I also use the elastic clips, remindes me of the old nylon holders, I only use one on the foot of the bed and store the other three for future use. Have not had any problem of them coming loose during the night. Easy to install and remove.

Thanks for your suggestion. They were called suspenders (showing my age). Will try them out.

We use them. We have a short queen and these work great getting the regular queen-sized fitted sheet to stay in place. We use all four though because I can't handle the sheet bunching up under me.

I get my sheets at Target and get the Egyptian cotton with the elastic ALL the way around the bottom sheet, not just the ends. They wash up very nicely and fold neatly into the pillow case so that they are one bundle to store instead of pieces to search for.

I bought my sheet set at Sams Club - queen 60x80 sheets - It was actually a bed in a bag and I was able to feel the sheets or you can buy the sheets set's only as well

another idea is if you go to Bed Bath and Beyond's website and sign up they send you discounts whether it is a 20% off one item or $5 off one item - I have a stack of the 20% off's I havent used yet

We use the cotton jersey knit sheets, they sell them at Target. I love them they're like sleeping in a tee-shirt, and because they're stretchy so they pretty well, and the extra fabric we just tuck underneath.
