Queen bed sheets

Hello we're getting back in to camping after a several years. We just got a new Crusader 5er and we need to get some new Queen size sheets. The price of RV sheets is crazy, I can buy very nice household sheets for alot less money. Does anyone know where to get reasonable priced RV sheets or do you just use normal Queen sheets?

Thanks

We found a deep pocket full size set and put them on the "short queen". So far so good.

We use regular sheets. Found some real nice 500 thread count sheets at Wal-Mart for around $50. They're great! We just tuck the excess under the mattress. Works great.

I have a shorty and I just use regular queens. I try to use ones that aren't for the really deep mattresses. Unfortunately, those are getting hard to find.

Sheet Straps

We just bought some elastic bands made to clip onto the bottom sheet to hold it in place better. We haven't had a chance to try them yet. $5 at Walmart. Not bad for a guy

We found those bands also when we bought our sheets at Walmart. We will try them out on our trip in August.

The first thing (after 5 sleepless nights) we did was replace the 'shorty' with a regular size for Sam's. $350 more after spending $20k, what the heck! lol

ps. we are fortunate to have the room for extra length -- some floorplans don't

We bought those too. Haven't used them yet, though. It's such a pain in the tush to get the sheets on; by the time I'm done, I don't feel like messing around with it any more! I'll try them, though, to see if they work. Tucking the excess under the mattress does work; every few days I just re-tuck them and we're good to go.

Believe it or not my wife found perfect size in a booth at a boat and cottage show. They cost only $30 CDN and were Egyptian cotton. All she did was select the matress size.

We also have the short mattress and are using reg sheet set. Just tuck the extra under the mattress. Have not had a problem in over a year. have found the the higher quality sheet sets work better. Purchased 2 new set at Zeller's when on sale for 60% off.

We just did our first camping trip with new Rockwood Mini Lite ETC 181 which has a shortie Queen bed. We only had king size sheets which we used and tucked in around the mattress. This worked but have bought a regular queen size set from Sears and will be using them on our next trip in August. If that doesn't work then will try the bands from Walmart, thanks.

Egyptian cotton sheets are my favorite! I recently got married and my husband and I can't seem to match the comfort level of my parents sheets. The thread count makes such a difference and all the department stores we have gone to only have lower thread counts. We are thinking about just getting them offline, but not being able to feel them before buying them seems like it would be risky! Can anyone tell me if the Egyptian cotton at http://www.exceptionalsheets.com is worth looking into?
Thanks for any advice! I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

We use the normal queen sheets but our matress is a serta pillow top and we also put the memory foam pad on top of that. So with the extra thickness it does not leave much extra on the fitted sheet and so far we have had no problems with the sheet coming off at the corners.

Most of the larger flea markets have booths that sell sheet sets that are 400 thread count, all the way up to 1800 thread count, which are what I got for our king size waterbed at home. They are regular california king size sheets, NOT waterbed sheets, but the pocket edges stay in place reasonably well so far! I paid 32.00 plus tax at a flea mkt. in Daytona for these. They feel like silk, they are so smooth. Randy
