Refigarator star up with gas.

After coming out of winterization my Dometic refrigerator would not start on gas. It worked fine on electricity. I could not see the burner ignite. So, I tried the stove burners. No luck. When I tried lighting the stove using a match, the 3 burners all lit. I the tried the refrigerator again and low and behold the line had purged itself and immediately lit. So, after turning everything off in Winter, the gas line needs purging. Try liting the stove burners first and then turn the gas on.

After about a year and a half that happened at the start of every trip. Turns out that the CA sun had worn the joints in my supply hose and a small leak started. I didn't notice it until I started smelling gas at the front of the trailer. Since I only had the one tank on the hybrid TT, I used the opportunity to buy a longer supply line so I could swap out with a tank that was sitting on the ground.

Refrigerators have very small apertures in the LP system. In order to get LP moving after storing, it is always bets to light to stove for a short period first.
