Remote battery replacement question

I have one of the LCI remote controls and noticed the last few times using it, it would start cycling between functions in the middle of using it with the slide or stabilizers. I'm thinking maybe the batteries are getting weak.
Has anyone changed their batteries and know what battery type it uses?
Also, if batteries are replaced on something like this, does the remote have to be re-synced with everything again?

LCI makes several different remotes. Can you post a pic of the one you have?

It sounds like the keypad/touchscreen is failing. Charging it or changing the batteries is a good first try at fixing it.

According to the LCI site, that remote takes (2) AAA batteries. It shouldn't have to be reprogrammed after changing the batteries.

Isn't there some way to open it up and look to see what batteries are in it? If not, how do you replace them?

Thanks for the info. I thought it might use some special disc type battery that is hard to find. There are screws to open it - I just didn't have access to it when I posted the question.
