Removing Tree Sap from my roof

Anyone know of something I can use to remove sap from my roof? I am parked under a big Red Pine as a seasonal and I noticed a fare amount of sap on my roof. The trailer is a little over a month old. I want too keep up on the cleaning the roof mybe twice a year.

Try WD-40 or Goo Gone.

Yeah I think WD40 would work but Im not sure how bad it would be on the roof. I may try goo gone. I'm sure there are some harsh products out there that would do the trick but not sure how the rubber roof would hold up.

We are parked on a seasonal directly beneath a Poplar tree and have a terrible time with the stickies from it. Goo Gone gel spray works very well, both on the exterior and lino. Have also had amazing results using Spray 9 Marine on the awning, think it would probably be okay as well.

I read this for a solution that should work on RV roofs without any harm.

Tree sap is difficult to remove from any surface, especially once it’s hardened. As an alternative to those harsh, heavy-duty stain removers, use non-diluted Murphy’s Oil Soap. Simply apply with a mop or pour directly onto the affected surface. Allow it to sit for about fifteen minutes. Then scrub with a brush and rinse.

Thanks I will try that this spring. I did try the Goo Gone without any luck.
