Replacing sleeper sofa

We have a 2013 Silverback29RE with a Lazy Boy sleeper couch. The couch is not comfortable the shallow depth of the cushions make it uncomfortable.Has anyone removed and replaced the couch with a residential non sleeper one?? If so how did you remove the existing one and what did you replace it with

We replaced the 2.5 inch worthless mattress and replaced with 4.5 inch foam mattress. It has 2.5 inches of firm foam and 2 inches of memory foam.

We bought for full size bed but had to trim to fit. It is very comfortable.
