I have 2 of the folding cones as well as the reflective triangles. I also keep flares with me as well. I bought the cones on Amazon and am pleased with them. I like the fact they light up. There is an area where I live where you can park on the side of the road and the ocean is a few hundred feet away. It's really a nice place to hangout and you can stay parked there until 3am. The problem is our RV hugs the white line next to the road, once it gets dark I put one of the glow cones behind the RV by the white line and it lets people driving by know I'm close and they move over a bit before they get to me. When I didn't have the cone out they always drove right next to me to the point the RV would shake every time they passed.

I carry expired flares from my boat. Used them after my sideswipe two weeks ago. They worked fine, but boat flares donít last as long as road flares. However, the price was right. 😁 Gonna get & carry road flares and triangles now. Maybe Iím getting some for Christmas.

I use the basic safety triangles, they are (or should be) universally recognized. I like the LED light up stuff for night use, most of the ones I have seen aren't bright enough for daytime use. Safety vest is a given, I can't believe the number of people I see on the side of the road in dark clothing against a dark colored back ground. I thought they taught this in drivers' ed, but I guess not.

Last flares I had were the monster railroad flares, they would burn for close to 30 minutes and would light up the night. Haven't been able to source any of those for several years. As a general rule I don't like flares because of the short burn times.

Hadnít thought about using the cones to define your campsite area. I already have small non-collapsible cones that I can use to help steer me when backing into a tight campsite.

The flares in the video are LED lights. I ordered them last week. Theyíre being shipped from China so itíll take 4 weeks for shipping.
