Rock Guard Question

Posted this over on the Sunseeker forum, but thought I would try here as well.

Getting ready to purchase our first tow dolly for our Sunseeker and have been reading about rock guards.

Question for others with a tow dolly, 1- do you use a rock guard, and, 2- if so, what kind?

Thanks in advance for your help...

We have had a Coachman Freelander and a FR3. We use an acme tow dolly to pull a 2011 Sorento with no rock guard and we have had no problems.

Thanks for your responses. That is what I think we will try. Don't see many tow dollies on the road with them, so that is what we were thinking.

Thanks!

Can you tell me if your Sunseeker is the MBS? I have the 2400 are model of the Sunseeker on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. I want to put a rock guard on but I'm not sure where to put it due to the exhaust. Can you tell me if yours is a diesel and what you did with your rock guard? Did you put it near to the wheels or near to the bumper. Thanks a lot.

Sorry, but I just saw your post. Don't have the MBS Sunseeker, Ford E450 here. Didn't get the rock guard and have not had a problem pulling with the tow dolly and getting any damage to the car.

Now we are getting our Jeep Grand Cherokee set up to flat tow. Might revisit the rock guard issue now with this change.

Again, sorry about the late reply.
