Roof observation

I have been reading threads on this forum about roof leaks. I don't have any the unit is just a couple months old, but it got me curious so I climbed up to take a look around. Everything looks good and I don't see any problems inside the trailer but I noticed the dicor seal that runs across the back of the trailer is about 1" wide. The seal running across the front is about 2 1/2" wide. Is that normal?

Only a guess...I would say the front is covering the entire trim piece that connects the cap(assuming) to the RV roof.
