Roof sealant maintenance

I recently purchased a 2003 Sandpiper and am looking for some maintenance recommendations. How often does the roof sealant need to be reapplied? Any sealant recommendations?

First, to the forum.

You need to reapply as needed (when you see cracks in the caulking). Inspect a couple of times per year. Dicor Self Leveling Sealant is the only type of caulk to use on the roof.

Clean all areas with acetone or something similar.

Some have covered the roof seams with Eternabond Tape and are satisfied with the results.

Hope this helps.
