The KING Tailgater2 or Pro, or similar units, have two Coax outputs, so, yes, you can provide satellite Channels to two DIFFERENT receivers. There is a limitation, though, which is that the 'secondary' receiver will only be able to see channels that arise from the SAME satellite that the Main receiver was originally programmed to.
In essence, it's easily done, as the second Receiver is the only additional item that you need, but the programming for the secondary receiver will be limited to only channels from a single satellite, which might be best if from either 129(HD channels), or 110(mostly SD, but many, many channels)
If you have your Main receiver/tv on satellite 129 when the secondary receiver is programmed(acquires the satellite), the secondary receiver will then be set to only 'see' channels from sat 129. If you change the Main receiver to a channel from one of the other satellites, then the secondary receiver will show the 'error' or similar message on it's TV screen.
If you know that you can pick up sat 129(HD channels), and those channels include a lot of channels that you and your kin like to view, then leave your Main receiver on one of those channels when you program the secondary receiver, so it will see the same ones.
The reason for all of this is due to the fact that portable satellite antennas ONLY have single 'eye' to see the satellites, though it can 'move' from one to the other, as you switch channels that originate from one of the other satellites. But, since it's only a single 'eye', it can ONLY see channels from a single satellite, hence why the 'secondary' receiver can also only see those channels.
When you originally program the Main receiver, it 'powers' the antenna, and sends the request to find all THREE satellites, 110, 119, and 129. When you program the secondary receiver, though, it is not powering the antenna, but simply using the already 'found' satellite that the Main receiver is tuned to. It can't change channels and 'move' the antenna to another satellite, only the one that it is programmed to.
FUN!
or, you could simply just get another $350 portable antenna! Yay!
