Scissor Jacks/Stablizer question...

Here's the question:


Once your stabilizer touches the ground, how much more do you put into it before you call it "good"? In other words, how tight, is tight enough?

i use my drill to run them down then i add about one more turn. i check them again the next day, usually they loosen up a bit overnight.

I found a torque setting on my Cordless Drill that seems to be just the right amount of pressure. Works out to be a turn or two max.

OK thanks guys. That's pretty much what I've been doing as well tighten it up until it feels about right… Usually about 1 to 2 turns, depending on how far the stabilizer is extended out.
