Seal Leaks w Silicone Tape

We had a slow drip on the black sewer pipe connecting the grey and black tank. This became evident while the Solera was parked in the driveway with the back on the downhill slope. The connection was originally covered with black tape (looks like electrical tape) and a 4-inch hose clamp. I unwound the leaking tape and replaced it with silicone tape and replaced the hose clamp.

Another great product for the RV toolkit. “Stretch and Seal, Self-Fusing Silicone Sealing Tape” by Nashua Tape Products. Says it good for sealing electrical cords, connections, pipes and hoses.

Nashua Tape Stretch and Seal 1 in. x 3.33 yds. Black Silicone Sealing Tape-684201 at The Home Depot

Keep trucking! Steve
